Car Dealership Making an Impact on Teens
Platte Valley Youth For Christ received a donation of $2,000 from Cornhusker Toyota/Honda in Grand Island for teens in prison and victims of human trafficking. Other recipients included Grand Island Public Schools Girls’ Wrestling, 4-H, Honor Flights and E-sports.
For YFC, this community support ensures that teens have a trained, caring adult by their side, someone who will listen without judgment and give teens a voice. This funding provides Bibles, lunches, and safe places for kids to gather. And best of all, kids hear about Jesus!
Through leader testimonies, Bible lessons, fun games and food, students enter into authentic, Christ-sharing relationships with adults who can be trusted. For a teen in prison, trust is essential! And investments like this build an image of God who can always be trusted. Praise God!
